What We Do

Graphic Design is the cornerstone of a successful career in Digital Media Arts (DMA). This program equips you with the skills to master industry-standard tools like Adobe Creative Suite, while fostering creativity and precision in design. A foundational unit in Photography builds technical expertise in camera operation, visual composition, and digital editing, preparing you to create impactful advertisement campaigns. Throughout the year, you’ll explore innovative communication methods, collaborate with community partners, and tackle real-world creative challenges, gaining the tools and confidence to excel in graphic design and beyond.

Opportunities

Successful students in this program have these academic opportunities available:

•     Adobe Certification MA II in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
•     Ability to earn post-secondary credits and/or industry credentials while at CVCC
•     OSHA10: General
•    Fast Forward (6+) through CCV (ART1310: Digital Photography (fall), ART1210: Adobe Creative Suite (spring), ART1060: 2D Design (spring))
•    Articulation agreement through Vermont College system
