Angelique Fairbrother Bio

2024 marks my 21st year as an educator, a journey that began in Illinois as a middle school science teacher after my time in the military. My initial experiences in the classroom opened my eyes to the profound impact of digital learning and 21st century skills on teaching methods, prompting me to pursue a master's degree in STEM curriculum and instruction. This led me to take on the role of instructional coach, where I collaborated with fellow educators to enhance their teaching practices. Twelve years ago, I relocated to Vermont. Most recently, I worked as the technology integrationist and STEAM Coordinator at SHS. When I’m not in the classroom, I am either enjoying outdoor activities. I am an avid Geocacher, and I am passionate about using this digital tool outdoors. Or if not outdoors, I am learning or using design tools.
